This session explores how writing leads and teachers can organise their long-term objectives so that spelling, punctuation and grammar can be embedded into the writing journey. This eradicates the need for any spelling or grammar scheme and instead looks at creating a bespoke learning journey aligned to your school’s wider curriculum. Later in the session, we will explore how objectives from a long-term map can be planned effectively into a unit of work and sequence of lessons.
Please note that the teachers need to bring a working towards book with them – just one.
