English: Assessing Writing at the end of KS1
Duration 0.5 days
BEST Trust

This session will take the Teacher Assessment Framework for Writing at Key Stage One and use DfE exemplification and moderator training materials to exemplify and break down the ‘Pupil Can’ statements. It will enable participants to revisit the statements when making internal teacher assessment judgments at the end of the year or introduce the system to any NQTs or RQTs in Year 2 who have not yet accessed training due to Covid.

Whilst there is no formal end of year assessment at KS1 again this year, the course will provide participants with the required knowledge and understanding of this assessment system and the associated exemplification materials to be able to use within their own class
