This session aims to give you a structure in which to develop role-play in key stage 1. It will be useful for those of you who already have some continuous provision and for those of you who are introducing continuous provision.

We will discuss starting points for planning; involving children in the planning and resourcing of role- play areas; and how to use role -play to reinforce and extend children’s communication, language and literacy skills.
