A group of Year 1 teachers will share how they are using continuous provision to extend learning opportunities and offer a range of experiences to their children. Planning, organisation and the impact on learning will be discussed.

Trainer Information

Liz Palmer is an experienced teacher and early years specialist. She works as a trainer and consultant within the early years sector. Liz has extensive working knowledge of early years at local authority level; in schools; in private, voluntary and independent settings and in Children’s Centres. She has an excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage with a particular interest in developing practice to provide quality teaching and learning experiences for young children. Liz has managed early years assessment within a local authority and has worked for the Standards and Testing Agency.
