Outdoor Spring maths

(The curriculum: what we want children to learn)

• To plan an outdoor environment that provides significant, meaningful and creative contexts for mathematical development
• To use seasonal interests and resources to develop mathematical operations in a playful outdoor context
• To use collections and natural open-ended resources to challenge mathematical thinking
• To plan for the balance between focused teaching and child-initiated learning. 

 

 

Target Group EYFS leads, teachers and teaching assistants

Special Requirements (attendance at both sessions is required/ an activity between sessions)
