• To understand the importance of quality, accurate and useful observations, and how to use these to plan for children’s next steps in learning
• To be able to develop a system of assessment for the end of summer term 2020 that can be used effectively to meet the learning needs of children in supporting effective transition to year 1

Target Group The session is for teachers, TAs and support staff working in the EYFS
*Reception teachers and TAs to attend together where possible

Special Requirements This course is run over two sessions in one day, 10.30 to 11.30am and 1.30 to 2.30pm. Participants must attend both sessions.
