• To give an overview of Early Years Foundation Stage, the context of learning and an understanding of the EYFS assessments used as part of the transition process to key stage 1
• To know how to prepare and plan for teaching and learning to meet children’s needs including the development of continuous provision for the autumn term

Target Group

*Reception and Year 1 teachers to attend together where possible

*Teachers new to Year 1 in September 2020 to attend

Special Requirements This course is run over two sessions in one day, 10.30 to 11.30am and 1.30 to 2.30pm. Participants must attend both sessions.
