This course will allow staff to:

• Understand the safeguarding implications for their school
• Understand what self-harm and self-injury are
• Understand why children and young people self-harm and self-injure
• Explore early warning signs to be aware of
• Respond appropriately and provide early support
• Know where to go to for further support

Target Group This training course is suitable for all teaching and support staff.
