To enable the participants to:

• Become familiar with some of the teaching and learning implications of the Y2 National Curriculum in preparation for statutory assessment
• Gain awareness of the administrative procedures in respect of the National Curriculum assessment process
• Become familiar with the KS1 moderation process in Bury schools
• Become aware of responsibilities in respect of the administration of the Phonic screening Check

Target Group Any Y2 teacher new to year group this year, or any Y2 teacher recently in post in this year group who has not attended this training.
