Special Requirements *Numbers are strictly limited to 18 on this face to face phonics course at Unsworth Primary School to comply with social distancing measures. Early booking is advised.

Course Content

Children in nursery will focus on developing their listening skills.

In Phase 1 phonics, children are taught about:

• Environmental sounds
• Instrumental sounds
• Body percussion (e.g. clapping and stamping)
• Rhythm and rhyme
• Alliteration
• Voice sounds
